Sewing Classes are offered for children
ages nine to fourteen, as well as special classes for adults. Students will be taking five
sessions for the price of $95.00. A registration fee of $15.00 is
required to reserve your space. Please check our current
class schedule for the dates and times
of each class.
Youth Sewing Classes
Learn Your Sewing Machine
Make an appointment and learn to operate your machine.
Beginners Sewing Classes
These classes are designed to teach the
basic steps necessary to begin the sewing process. All supplies will
be provided; however, students may purchase basic sewing tools if they
choose to. Students will complete one project in this class.
Intermediate Sewing Classes
These classes are designed to assist
with sewing techniques previously learned in the beginner’s class.
Students will need to bring their own sewing supplies. Students will
complete one simple project of their choice in this class. Personal Development Table Manners and Etiquette Learn the Do's and Don'ts about sitting and eating at the dinner table in a restaurant or at home. Adult Classes Beginning Sewing This class teaches basic sewing techniques and terms.
Students will make one simple project. Sewing On Wheels Learn Your Sewing Machine Make an appointment and learn to operate your machine.
Beginner's
Sewing Classes On Wheels
This class teaches basic sewing techniques and terms in
the comfort of your home or other designated place.
This class is designed to teach the basic steps necessary to begin
the sewing process. Students may purchase basic sewing tools if they
choose to. Students will complete one project in this class.
Learn Your Serger Take your serger out of the box and make an appointment to learn to thread and operate it. The instructor will review your manual prior to the session.
Hems and More Hems Replace the hem of your outfits without taking it to the dry cleaners. Make an appointment with the instructor to learn hemming techniques. (Handwork only) Buttons Did you lose a button? Replace a button in a matter of minutes. Make an appointment with the instructor to learn how to replace buttons on your outfit. (Handwork only)
